The Final Product
Today we did our final presentation of our cupcakes. Before, we had 15 minutes to get everything set up and to put the frosting on the cupcakes. I must say, it was not a lot of time and it went by real fast. Throughout the rush of time, the display and the cupcakes tied together perfectly. In the end my team came in second place in the class. It seems like the judges were pleased with our secret ingredients, which can now be revealed:

Final Preperation
Since Logan cannot make it tonight, Chloe and I are going to make yet another batch of cupcakes. After creating the final batch of cupcakes, we also have to make icing and our display table to mount them upon. We have magnificant ideas for our display table that also seems to tie in with our theme.
Making and Baking
Last night I was accompanied by my group members, Logan and Chloe, in her kitchen preparing to bake the cupcakes. I was slightly late making it to Chloe's house, therefore she and Logan mixed the first batch of batter while I was on my way. When I arrived, I started mixing the pink batter into the golden, then Logan swirled the pink around, so our finalized cupcakes woulld have pink swirls throughout them. We repeated our first process a second time, to create our second batch and waited on the first batch to end its baking process. After removing the first from the oven, we baked our second batch. After our second batch was finished, we pulled them from the oven. My group members and I were ecstatic about our freshly baked cupcakes!

PINKY promise to have hope.

Common & Helpful
Cupcake Tips
When putting the batter into the cupcake holders, the best thing to use is a ice-cream scooper. This way all of the cupcakes will be the same size.
When putting all of the ingredients together, mix together the dry ingredients in one bowl, the wet in another bowl and cream the butter and sugar together. Once the butter and sugar forms into a cream, mix in the dry ingredients by sections, slowly. Once it is all mixed add the wet ingredients slowly.
How to tell the cupcakes are done?: Take a toothpick and stick it into the center of a cupcake or two. If the toothpick comes out clean when you pull it out, it is done. If the toothpick comes out with batter on it, it is not done.
Icing Tips
If wanting to make a pretty design on your cupcakes, make sure you use the correct decorating utensil.
To make a easy design, use a spatchula!
Display Information
The final display is a major thing when it comes to cupcakes, make sure you take your time and have a steady hand.
Stick with the theme you plan on doing, sometimes simple is the way to go.

With Friday's due date looming over our heads, my group's project is finally coming to a close. All of the supplies are purchased, and we're baking them all tomorrow. As far as I'm aware, the icing will be made on Friday before we present.
My worries lie with the display. The idea we had in mind is more complicated than I'd anticipated, and was scrapped. We plan to spend today brainstorming more simple ideas, but I fear we won't have enough time due to our 'interview', another project for this class. We're really going to have to come up with something quick if we're going to get any kind of a decent grade.
